This page tries to give a sense of where Recoin is going and what
features and changes are planned for future releases. People interested
in helping to implement these changes are highly welcome.
- Localization of the entire package structure. Up until now
localization has been applied to certain areas or classes, but lacks a
application-wide approach.
- Implementation of a XML-based repository, either file-based or through a XML-database like Xindice.
- Separation of server and client code:
- Building the Recoin framework as an independent server application based on J2EE.
- Move towards a more Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) through web services and RPC. - Implementation of a mechanism to calculate actual CPU time per thread.
